even people who are not in my section see that my boss is so
into details that the reason why she's doing things is lost to
her...
heck! this morning, she was trying her damnest to find out who put
a printout on her table... i forgot that it was me.. because.. who
cares who put it on her table as long as it is read, understood and
the work is done..
yet, she's trying to find out when it was put there, who put it
there and all that..
what's the point??
ultimately, the thing got her attention, the mistakes in the
printout went to the other section for amendment.. that should be
that...
who put it there? why should anyone care?
i told her that details like that will slip my mind.. heck! who
remembers things like "i put a printout on her table" ?
she told me to keep a diary of such things.. would you?
at 1432hrs, i put a printout on the boss's table
at 1435hrs, i filed a photocopy of the printout in the files
..blah blah...
i'd be writing volumes of nonsensical crap all the time!!
i guess that's why her room is a firetrap.. every damned email is
printed out and filed
